The total number of casualties due to alcohol is 28 people
siaran id. Jakarta, the Police said the number of victims killed by drinking ginger liquor while there were 28 people. Dozens of souls have fled because of alcoholic waste spread in South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Depok, and Bekasi.
The amount is detailed, with eight people killed in South Jakarta, 10 people in East Jakarta, eight people in Depok, and two in Pondok Gede, Bekasi.
From the data gathered on Wednesday (4/4), eight people were killed in South Jakarta, namely W (32), AL (39), YH (32), FS (38) S (29), M (50), S (40), and F (32). The eight people bought alcoholic drinks at the hospital stall located at Jalan Komjen Pol M Jasin, Srengseng Sawah.
Related to this, the South Jakarta Police have arrested the hospital as a drink seller and set him as a suspect.
While 10 were killed in East Jakarta, namely HD (19), R (39), DK (21), RP (28), AR (21), Y, FF, EY (56), and AH (27).
For eight killed in Depok, six of them bought liquor at Srengseng Sawah, South Jakarta. They are M, A, A, I, H (26), and MS (18). While the other two initials A (50) and D (31) are known to buy alcohol in the Pancoran Mas area.
However, Pancoran Mas police chief Kompol Roni Wowor suspected that two residents of Pancoran Mas had also bought alcohol in the same place as other victims.
Previously, the place for the liquor store at Pancoran Mas was damaged by residents for allegedly selling alcoholic beverages which resulted in two deaths.
"But it seems that the seller at the Panmas (Pancoran Mas) has nothing to do with the death of the victim, because according to the info, the victim bought in the Jagakarsa (RS) area," Roni said
Nevertheless, Roni said that his party had not yet made an arrest of the liquor seller who was in Pancoran Mas. "The indication is towards the hospital, but it still needs to be explored," he said.
While in Pondok Gede, Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Sr. Comr. Argo Yuwono, confirmed that two residents had died as a result of consumption of alcoholic drinks. Both victims have the initials MR (20) and A (32).
The two victims initially bought alcoholic drinks together with three other friends. The three people were Y (24) who had been critical at Hermina Bekasi Hospital but had been repatriated, then D (26), AA (28), and AT (47).
The six people bought alcohol on Sunday (1/4) at around 16:30 WIB. Argo said they bought six packs of plastic bags.
"The victim bought six packs of plastic bags and drank by six people behind the house of AA's brother, but two were hospitalized and died," he said.
Until now, Argo said it was still investigating the incident. He claimed to be looking for suppliers of alcoholic waste.
